Create a Box Model of the Global Water Cycle

Materials:  Reading:  The Global Water Cycle,  scrap paper,  lg sheet of paper,  colored markers

1.   Read the handout:  The Global Water Cycle

2.  Create a Box Model fo the Global Water Cycle.
     Discuss and plan the model first on scrap paper.
     Draw your final version on the large sheet of paper.  Include on your Box Model:

• The Name of the system
• Label the sources and sinks
• Label the flow between the srouces and sinks and the direction of the flow
• Label the approximate percentages of the flows.

3.  Answer the Questions About Systems for your diagram.
