The SOAR-High classes at ISD and MSSD have been doing research on Green Down. We have made observations as the trees changed this Fall. We have measured temperature, precipitation, leaf color, leaf reflectance. Now we must write a report about the research and analyze the data. The GLOBE program is interested in our research. We can submit our best report to the GLOBE Program. GLOBE will select 10 student teams to represent the USA at the Learning Expedition. If the research report is really good, maybe the MSSD/ISD team will be selected to go to the GLE in Croatia. The Student Teams are made up of 4 students and 2 teachers.
Teresa Huckleberry and Mary Ellsworth will be selecting 2 students from
each school to submit a research report to GLOBE, and compete for the chance
to be one of the 10 US Teams to go to the GLE. |
