How does the temperature and moisture differ on two islands both located in the
                                 Hawaiian Islands?

The Punahou School is located on the island of Honolulu and has an elevation of
134 meters.  Konawaena High School is located on the main island of Hawaii
with an elevation of 440 meters.  The rainfall for the two sites differ during
certain times of the year.  Refer to graph below.

The temperatures between the two sites is surprising.  Due to the differences in latitidue, I thought the school at the more southern location would have a higher temperature than the school with the slightly northern latitude.  Punahou School is located at 21.3059 N, 157.8349 W; while Konawaena High School is located at 19.5087 N, 155.9145 W.  However, based on the data from the schools, the temperatures differ and in the opposite way than I originally thought.  See graph below.

Further questions to ask...
Why does the temperature vary between the two sites?
What do the other sites on the island of Honolulu have in their data?
How much does the rainfall affect the temperature?
