to see Shuttle Launch Students in Teresa Huckleberry's
science classes (Indiana School for the Deaf) are off on another adventure.
After spending the summer involved in a flight program where they actually
piloted real airplanes, the students are now headed off to Cape Kennedy,
Florida, where they will participate in the STS-87 Space Shuttle Launch
Conference on November 19. Teresa and her students will be bringing back
materials and ideas for sharing. Their trip will be provided through the
generosity of an anonymous donor. Email them at teresalh@iquest.net and
look for information via a website at MSSD: www.gallaudet.edu/~pcnmpg12/sts.html
Go Teresa and ISD students!!
Friday Science Circle Wonder what ever happened to your application for the Friday Science Circle project? It's still alive and well, but taking longer than expected to get started. Look for information soon, and thanks for your patience. |
